The brainchild of seasoned musicians JD King and Pete Yorn, The Olms is a two member group from California which released its first self titled album in June, debuting at No.

4 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers. The band's sound has been described as a mix of easygoing country rock and simple 60s pop, with the success of debut single Wanna Feel It leading them to take to the stage at this year's iTunes Festival in support of fellow US band Vampire Weekend. Yorn - who's previously collaborated with Scarlett Johansson - and King, have already confirmed that a new album is in the works as they continue to record with revamped label, Harvest Records, which released albums by progressive rock stars including Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett in the 1970s before being re-launched in 2013.
